Angonisaurus cruickshanki
Taxonomy
Angonisaurus cruickshanki was named by Cox and Li (1983). Its type specimen is BMNH R 9732, a partial skeleton (Skull, lower jaw, left pectoral and left pelvic girdle, vertebrae and ribs), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is U12, 0.5 km north Hita stream, which is in an Anisian terrestrial horizon in the Manda Beds Formation of Tanzania. It is the type species of Angonisaurus.
