Paupospira burginensis

Taxonomy
Lophospira medialis burginensis was named by Ulrich and Scofield (1897) [Ulrich in Ulrich & Scofield 1897 = Lophospira medialis 973 - 974 pl. 73 f. 23-29 (the types do not match these!) = Lophospira medialis Wilson 1951 p. 35 pl. 4 f. 12 = Lophospira peracuta Wilson 1951 p. 36 - 37 pl. 3 f. 4]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Loxoplocus (Lophospira) burginensis by Hoare and Pojeta (2006); it was recombined as Paupospira burginensis by Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2023).
