Taxonomy
Trochonema (Eunema) simile was named by Ulrich and Scofield (1897). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fusispira Beds, Wykoff, which is in a Chatfieldian carbonate limestone in the Prosser Formation of Minnesota.
