Petigurus nero
Taxonomy
Bathyurus nero was named by Billings (1865) [Lectotype selected by Whittington 1953.]. Its type specimen is GSC 750 (lectotype), a cephalothorax (glabella only), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Petigurus nero by Whittington (1953) and Fortey and Bruton (2013).
