Taxonomy
Sphaerocoryphe ludvigseni was named by Chatterton (1980) [Paratypes: UA 2733-52, 2754-5, GSC 43563-4.]. Its type specimen is UA 2753, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sunblood Mountain Calyptaulax-Ceraurinella Biofacies (A-110), which is in a Chazyan deep subtidal limestone in the Esbataottine Formation of Canada.
