Paromylacris rotunda

Taxonomy
Paromylacris rotundum was named by Scudder (1885). Its type specimen is R. D. Lacoe No. 2026, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mazon Creek, USNM Lacoe Collection, which is in a Westphalian D interdistributary bay mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.

It was corrected as Paromylacris rotunda by Scudder (1890), Scudder (1895), Handlirsch (1906) and Handlirsch (1920).
