Liassophlebia magnifica
Taxonomy
Liassophlebia magnifica was named by Tillyard (1925). Its type specimen is BMNH I 6684-I 10462, an exoskeleton (thorax, left foreleg, right hindwing & base of right forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Binton, Warwickshire (Tomes collection), which is in a Planorbis marine shale/limestone in the Blue Lias Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Liassophlebia.
