Yochelsonellisa eximia
Taxonomy
Knightites (Retispira) eximia was named by Yochelson (1960). Its type specimen is USNM 114265, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM712b, Orogrande, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Hueco Formation of New Mexico.
It was recombined as Retispira eximia by Kues (1991) and Kues (1995); it was recombined as Yochelsonellisa eximia by Waterhouse and Chen (2006).
