Taxonomy
Patellilabia junior was named by Yochelson (1960). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is B.E.G. 199-T4-L16, Geisecke Ranch, Runnels County, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Lueders Formation of Texas.
