Taxonomy
Endophyllum jelli was named by Zhen (1994). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lime Creek Area, Spongophyllum association, which is in a Givetian reef, buildup or bioherm wackestone in the Burdekin Formation of Australia.
