Mitredon cromptoni

Taxonomy
Mitredon cromptoni was named by Shapiro and Jenkins (2001). It is extant. Its type specimen is MGUH VP 3392, a mandible. Its type locality is north side Aerenprisdal, intersection with Pingel Dal, Mitredon, which is in a Rhaetian lacustrine dolomite in the Fleming Fjord Formation of Greenland. It is the type species of Mitredon.
