Taxonomy
Gefonia cubanica was named by Licharew (1936). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nikitina Balka, 2.5 km from mouth, P2a horizon, north Caucasus, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
