Taxonomy
Jeffersonia crassimarginata was named by Cullison (1944). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is M. S. M. 106.11. On the Isabella-Hammond road, 1 mile north of Isabella, which is in a Cassinian carbonate limestone/chert in the Theodosia Formation of Missouri.
It was recombined as Peltabellia crassimarginata by Boyce (1989); it was recombined as Strigigenalis crassimarginata by Loch (2007).
