Anoploceras taimyrense

Cephalopoda - Nautilida - Tainoceratidae

Pleuronautilus taimyrensis was named by Schtastlivtceva (1986). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chernokhrebetnaya river (Olenekites spiniplicatus zone), which is in a Spathian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Anoploceras taimyrensis by Sobolev (1989); it was recombined as Anoploceras taimyrense by Dagis et al. (1996).
