Cephalon semicircular, characterized by anterior and posterior sections of facial sutures close to each other, both directed outward and backward; librigenae fused together through doublure, consisting of narrow dorsal strips connecting eyes to margin and to genal spines (modified from Fortey & Owens 1997).
