Angistorhinus parvus
Taxonomy
Paleorhinus parvus was named by Mehl (1928). Its type specimen is Univ. Missouri VP 530, a partial skeleton (Partial skull and partial postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sage Creek locality, Univ. Missouri, 1927, which is in a Carnian terrestrial horizon in the Popo Agie Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Palaeorhinus parvus by Hay (1930); it was synonymized subjectively with Paleorhinus bransoni by Hunt and Lucas (1991); it was recombined as Angistorhinus parvus by Kammerer et al. (2016).
