Taxonomy
Glyptoleda flexuosa was named by Waterhouse (1964). Its type specimen is NZGS TM3511 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS6072, Letham Burn (D44/f9623), which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Mangarewa Formation of New Zealand.
