Eumedlicottia primas

Taxonomy
Goniatites primas was named by Waagen (1872). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jabi, "Cephalopod Bed", Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Sageceras primas by Waagen (1879); it was recombined as Eumedlicottia primas by Reed (1944), Ehiro and Araki (1997) and Leonova (2002).
