Taxonomy
Doublatia matheri was named by Engel and Laurie (1978). Its type specimen is NUF2600a/b, an exoskeleton, and it is a mold. Its type locality is NU L925. Manning River, Taree, which is in a Sakmarian marine mudstone in the Colraine Formation of Australia.
