Rhynchopora geinitziana
Taxonomy
Terebratula geinitziana was named by de Verneuil (1845). Its type specimen is Verneuil Pl 10, fig 5 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chidrova, near mouth of Vaga River, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Rhynchonella geinitziana by Geinitz (1861); it was recombined as Rhynchopora geinitziana by Lisiakiewicz (1979), Erlanger (1981) and Kalashnikov (1981).
