Taxonomy
Kallodictyon spinatum was named by Ernst and Nakrem (2007). Its type specimen is PMO 208.941a and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Great Bear Cape (Store Bjornekap), Ellesmere Island, which is in an Artinskian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Great Bear Cape Formation of Canada.
