Taxonomy
Protostylophyllum ulfati was named by Melnikova (2001). It is not extant. Its type locality is Dzhilgakochusu Valley, Tajikistan, which is in a Tuvalian/Lacian shallow subtidal limestone in the Lower Shaimak Formation of Tajikistan.
