Taxonomy
Plerophyllum differentiatum was named by Ilina (1962) [As Plerophyllum dzhulfense differentiatum]. Its type specimen is PIN 1820/956 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Ufimia differentiata by Ezaki (1991).
