Taxonomy
Quadrochites disjunctus was named by Qian et al. (1979). It is not extant. Its type locality is Tianzhushan, upper bed, which is in a Meishucunian marine phosphorite in the Huangshandong Formation of China. It is the type species of Quadrochites.
