It was assigned to Veneroida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Solenidae by Clark and Arnold (1923), Nagao (1928), Durham (1944), Moore (1976), Vokes (1980), Woodring (1982), Perrilliat (1992), Lamprell and Healy (1998), Moore (2003) and Bouchet et al. (2010).
