Taxonomy
Chauliodites anisicus was named by Aristov et al. (2011) [Grauvogel-Stamm private collection]. Its type specimen is G.S. 5541/5542, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Vilsberg, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone/siltstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France.
