Taxonomy
Pseudospiriferina pinguis was named by Yang and Xu (1966). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is FM-7, Machangping, Fuquan County, which is in a Pelsonian/Illyrian carbonate limestone in the Qingyan Formation of China.
