Taxonomy
Zdenekia silesiensis was named by Prokop et al. (2012). Its type specimen is MP ISEA I-F/MP/1488/2a/08, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Porąbka-Klimontów mine, Sosnowiec-Klimontów (ISEA collection), which is in a Westphalian A interdistributary bay mudstone in Poland.
