Taxonomy
Lima tenuilineata was named by Fang (1987). Its type specimen is NIGP 71725, a valve (Left valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Xiaoyuanchong (Douling Fm, Upper Mb), Yuanjia, Jiahe, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine mudstone in the Douling Formation of China.
