Heintzella applegatei
Taxonomy
Paraheritschioides applegatei was named by Wilson (1994). Its type specimen is LACMIP 12217 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP 14325, C&K Mine Section, Mitchell Caverns, Providence Mountains, which is in an Asselian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bird Spring Formation of California.
It was recombined as Heintzella applegatei by Fedorowski et al. (2007).
