It was assigned to Permotrichoptera by Sukacheva (1976); to Amphiesmenoptera by Willmann (1978); to Protomeropina by Sukatsheva et al. (2007); to Mecoptera by Minet et al. (2010); and to Protomeroptera by Engel (2022) and Wang et al. (2022).
