Paraheritschioides stevensi
Taxonomy
Heritschioides stevensi was named by Wilson (1982). Its type specimen is UCMP 37207 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP D-862, Bayha, which is in a Sakmarian marine limestone/limestone in the McCloud Formation of California.
It was recombined as Paraheritschioides stevensi by Sando (1985), Wilson and Langenheim (1993) and Fedorowski et al. (2007).
