Taxonomy
Calliops divaricatus was named by Frederickson (1964). Its type specimen is OU 5209, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Estoniops divaricatus by Shaw (1974); it was recombined as Eomonorachus divaricatus by Ludvigsen (1978).
