Taxonomy
Heritschioides (Eoheritschioides) parvum was named by Stevens (1967). Its type specimen is UCMP 27312 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is S-4, Fortification Range, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Arcturus Formation of Nevada.
It was recombined as Wilsonastraea parva by Fedorowski et al. (2007).
