Protowentzelella shastensis
Taxonomy
Traskina shastensis was named by Wilson (1982). Its type specimen is UCMP 37253 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP D-843, Potter Ridge, which is in a Sakmarian marine limestone/limestone in the McCloud Formation of California.
It was recombined as Protowentzelella shastensis by Fedorowski et al. (2007).
