Taxonomy
Lytvophyllum wersonae was named by Stevens and Rycerski (1989). Its type specimen is GSC 85271 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 43287 (SE-157d-59), Telegraph Creek, Stikine, which is in a Sakmarian shallow subtidal limestone in Canada.
