Cystolonsdaleia berthiaumi
Taxonomy
Lithostrotion (Lithostrotionella) berthiaumi was named by Merriam (1942). Its type specimen is Cornell 38695 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is S80, Grindstone Area, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone/sandstone in the Coyote Butte Formation of Oregon.
It was recombined as Lonsdaleia (Actinocyathus) berthiaumi by Sando (1983); it was recombined as Cystolonsdaleia berthiaumi by Fedorowski et al. (2007).
