Falsiamplexus elongatus
Taxonomy
Falsiamplexus elongatus was named by Fedorowski (1987). Its type specimen is USNM 196773 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM701h, Wolf Camp Hills, Glass Mountains, which is in an Asselian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Neal Ranch Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Falsiamplexus.
