Shell free, univalve septate, disc-shaped, and convoluted in a flattened spiral; having an umbilicus; the last turn containing all the others; rounded mouth, receiving in its middle the return of the coil, sealed and covered by a diaphragm without siphon, but leaving a semi-lunar opening against the return of the coil; united partitions.
