Taxonomy
Taldycupes rosanovi was named by Ponomarenko (2006). Its type specimen is PIN 2099/3, an elytra (Left Elytron), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Ilimpeya locality (PIN collection 2099), which is in a Changhsingian terrestrial horizon in the Degali Formation of the Russian Federation.
