Taxonomy
Pavastehphyllum (Pseudocarniaphyllum) undaformis was named by Flügel (1972). Its type specimen is UGP 2758 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kuh-e-Shesh Angosht 66HF106, Bed 8, which is in a Roadian marine carbonate in the Jamal Formation of Iran.

It was recombined as Pseudocarniaphyllum undaformis by Clapham (2015).
