Taxonomy
Petraphyllum hunzaianum was named by Flügel (1989). Its type specimen is KT 10 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is KT10, Lupghar Valley, Raminji, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Panjshah Formation of Pakistan.
