Taxonomy
Pseudozaphrentoides winsnesi was named by Flügel (1995). Its type specimen is SMF 56622 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kuh-e-Saludu, 66 HF 82B, Ozbak-Kuh, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Saludu Formation of Iran.
