Palermoceras hoffmanni

Taxonomy
Adrianites (Hoffmannia) hoffmanni was named by Gemmellaro (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rupe del Passo di Burgio, calcare compatto, Sosio, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy.

It was recombined as Glyphioceras hoffmanni by de Gregorio (1930); it was recombined as Hoffmannia hoffmanni by Leonova (2002); it was recombined as Palermoceras hoffmanni by Furnish et al. (2009).
