Stellahexaformis gersterensis

Taxonomy
Stellahexaformis gersterensis was named by Gilmour and Snyder (1986). Its type specimen is EWU Bz 101 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gerster Ls., Medicine Range Section, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal packstone/lime mudstone in the Gerster Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Stellahexaformis.
