Juresanites campbelli

Taxonomy
Metalegoceras campbelli was named by Teichert and Glenister (1952). Its type specimen is UM 1981 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Irwin River, 1200 yards at 160 from N and S branches, which is in a Sakmarian marine shale in the Holmwood Formation of Australia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Juresanites jacksoni by Glenister et al. (1973); it was recombined as Juresanites campbelli by Glenister and Furnish (1961) and Leonova (2002).
