Taxonomy
Svetlanoceras moylei was named by Mikesh (1990). Its type specimen is SUI 10682 and is a mold. Its type locality is RWM 202-e, Lenox Hills, Glass Mountains, which is in an Artinskian marine limestone in the Lenox Hills Formation of Texas.
