Formicium brodiei
Taxonomy
Formicium brodiei was named by Westwood (1854). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Brodie coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Pseudosirex brodiei by Handlirsch (1906).
