Selenemys lusitanica
Taxonomy
Selenemys lusitanica was named by Pérez-García and Ortega (2011). Its type specimen is ALTSHN.066, a shell (shell with complete plastron and disarticulated carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Santa Rita, which is in a Kimmeridgian terrestrial horizon in the Praia da Amoreira-Porto Novo Formation of Portugal.
