Permocorynella capitanense

Taxonomy
Anthracosycon capitanense was named by Girty (1908) [Anthracosycon ficus var capitanense]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2926 green, Capitan Peak, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Capitan Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Corynella capitanense by Finks (1971); it was recombined as Permocorynella capitanense by Rigby and Senowbari-Daryan (1996).
